The Learning Bar is looking for a Program Manager reporting to the Chief Product Officer.

THE POSITION


A senior member of the Client Success team, the Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the continued success of clients who use our Educational Prosperity suite of products. As Program Manager you will plan, execute, and control the delivery of the Educational Prosperity program and ensure clients achieve their intended outcomes. To be successful in this newly created role, you will be located within 2-hours of the head office located in Fredericton, NB.  This position will appeal to seasoned professionals who have previously worked with clients in districts or at the school level; and have a desire to make an impact in the education sector. The idea candidate can plan, execute, and control projects from ideation through to completion – always mindful of the client needs and agreed contracted deliverables and milestones.

As Program Manager, your daily activities are varied, and include:

  • Full cycle project management, including risk mitigation, document maintenance, and reports.
  • Effective management of available resources to ensure contract delivery objectives are met though effective management of team scheduling and capacity utilization.
  • Seeking opportunities to improve processes.
  • Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Seeking information gathered by those who deliver services directly to educators at the schools, collaborate with the Client Success team, and strategizing with others while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, motivation, and success.
  • Recognizing the importance of the balance of long-term relationship-building; and meeting contract requirements. Practice effective change management strategies with clients, including the creation and execution of robust communications plans.

QUALIFICATIONS


You have a diploma from an accredited university or college, and over five (5) years experience as a program / project manager or a combination of at least three (3) years in a client-facing (e.g., Customer Success or Sales) role and (2) years as a project manager.

You are flexible, enthusiastic and have incredible interpersonal skills.  You come to this role with maturity and a desire to make a difference.

Additional skills (nice to have, but not required)

  • Previous experience in education as a teacher, principal, school district administrator or other related role.
  • Previous experience implementing educational programs within a school area or district is an asset.
  • Agile project management experience.
  • Bilingual (FR and EN)
