The Position
Are you a highly skilled and experienced leader with a background as a Full Stack Programmer who seeks the opportunity to apply hands-on technical leadership to a team? As a member of The Learning Bar, you will ensure our developers execute the technological product development activities as you utilize your strong technical leadership capabilities. Using your experience, you can identify where in the code the best ROI for improvements is and the best approach to get results. Best of all, in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with many other amazing people toward the common goal of solving meaningful problems!
Your primary duties will focus on ensuring projects undertaken by the development team are aligned with the product roadmap, and you will ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
The Ideal Candidate
This position will be of interest to those who have been programming for at least 5 years and seek opportunities to demonstrate your strong technical leadership abilities. You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. You have demonstrated exceptional technical skills as a full stack developer and can write code in 1 or more modern programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript). Your previous experiences include leading and mentoring other developers using Agile methodology; using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; and you are comfortable using modern web development technologies and frameworks, such as Spring, React, and Angular. Your experience designing and managing databases (including SQL and NoSQL) has prepared you for this role. Ideally, you have an interest and some knowledge of the public education sector, and the technology that supports it. You thrive in a workplace where diversity and positive change are a constant.

We are proud to take an active part in ensuring you have what you need to perform at your best.
We’re looking to grow as a diverse and inclusive workspace. We recognize that each person brings their own unique experiences and knowledge to a position, therefore if you don’t fit the above description 100% but are willing to take initiative and learn, please consider applying anyway.
